Worcester Warriors have announced an agreement with Bromsgrove-based Fews who have become the club’s Official Marquee Supplier.
The giant marquee in the EBC Fanzone has become a familiar sight at Sixways in recent seasons and the Fews-supplied structure has proved invaluable in allowing the club to stage various socially-distanced outdoor events between lockdowns including a recent sell-out Digbeth Dining Club weekend and question-and-answer session for Season Ticket Holders with Warriors players and coaches.
“We are delighted to announce this supplier deal with Few Marquees who have a long association with the club,” said Warriors Managing Director Peter Kelly.
“Fews are very much a local company with a reputation for quality. They are based in the heart of our community and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with them.
Fews were founded in 1999 and has been going strong since.
“Fews have a had a long association with Worcester Warriors, and becoming a supplier is natural step for us,” said Fews Managing Director Ian Fews.
“We pride ourselves in supporting local businesses and Warriors are a genuine local success story for us all to admire.
“We have been supplying emergency marquees for social distancing, as well as for vaccination and rapid testing, across the UK over the last few months, and it was a pleasure to provide the same to Warriors when we got the call.
“It’s now time for us to support local pubs and restaurants with marquees as they prepare to restart their businesses under the post lockdown conditions.
“I wish Worcester Warriors team, management and support staff, and their dedicated supporters the very best in the weeks and months ahead.”
